What does the tutorial tag mean on a Rust server?

It means Facepunch's new-player tutorial is switched on. You start on a private island and learn gathering, crafting, building and cooking before joining the main map. The server keeps its usual rates, group limit and rules once the island is finished.

How are tutorial servers graded on this site?

Each server gets a grade from its live numbers: how many players it holds, how steady its population is, when it last wiped and how its settings compare with similar servers. The report praises what is working and names what needs improving. If there is not enough data yet, it says so instead of guessing.

Do tutorial servers wipe like other Rust servers?

Yes. They follow the same wipe schedule as any server, usually monthly or weekly. A wipe resets the map, and blueprints reset only if the server chooses that. Check the Next wipe column or the wipe schedule for the countdown.

Can I play with friends after the tutorial?

Yes. The tutorial itself is solo, but you join the main map afterwards and can team up. Check the Group column before you pick, because some servers set a solo, duo or trio limit. A server with a low limit will not suit a larger group.

Grades average five subjects out of 100: population over the last 48 hours, standing, uptime, wipes and momentum, on the scale at the foot of the page. Each server's page adds performance and carries the full report.
