The class lists
Best Rust servers
26 lists · ranked by players on right now
Every Rust Server Score list sits on this page, grouped the way the quick links are. Each group shows how many servers it holds today and its three busiest, graded from live population, wipe and settings data refreshed every five minutes. Open a group to read the full report. You get a verdict you can act on before you join, and where the numbers are too thin to grade fairly, the page says so.

Begin with how you play. The team-size lists (solo, duo, trio) only show servers that publish those limits, so you are not greeted by a full group at your door. Play-style lists cover vanilla, modded, PvE, official, community and beginner servers, and the gather-rate lists are built from what each server states about its own multiplier. Region lists answer the clock question: a busy AU server is quiet for you if you play in the UK evening, so pick the region you actually play in.
Each group's three busiest servers are a taster, not the whole class. Open the full list for grades on population trend, uptime and wipe timing. For anything not grouped here, the full server list lets you filter by region, type, group limit and wipe schedule, and when the next force wipe lands is worth checking if you want a fresh start. For a quick read on the game as a whole, see the live player count.
Questions
How does Rust Server Score rank these lists?
Each list is ordered by live population read from public server data and refreshed every five minutes. The grades also weigh population trend and uptime, so a server that holds its players through the week scores above one that only fills after a wipe. No payment moves a server up a list.
Why do some servers appear in more than one group?
A server can match several rules at once. A 2x EU server with a trio limit belongs on the 2x, EU and trio lists. Because each group is built from published settings and live data, a server shows up wherever it genuinely fits.
Is the busiest server in a group always the best pick?
Not always. High population means more action but also more competition for space and resources. Check the wipe timer and group limit on the server page before you commit. A quieter server early in its wipe often gives a better run than a packed one that is a week old.
What if a list has too few servers to grade?
Then the page says so rather than guessing. A grade needs enough live data to be fair, so a list with only one or two matching servers will report its numbers without a confident verdict. Check back after the next wipe, when more servers tend to match.
